How to Order

Finding items
You can make your way around the site using the various links until you find what you were looking for, or simply browse until something catches your eye.
To find out more about a product, click on the image of the product or on the 'More Info' button. You'll then be taken to that product's page, which shows you image(s) of the item, more information about the item, a 'Buy' button to add the item to your Basket, and sometimes links to other related products.

Adding items to your Basket
When you click on 'Buy', the item is added to your Basket (on the right-hand side of the screen). This is a place to store anything you intend to buy. You can of course remove items from your Basket if you change your mind.
When you've finished shopping, click 'View Basket' (on the right-hand side of the screen). Here you will see a summary of everything in your Basket. You can change the quantity of any item by entering the new quantity and clicking on 'Update' (to remove an item, change the quantity to zero). Always remember to click 'Update' after changing a quantity.
When you're ready to buy, click 'Proceed to checkout' to begin filling out the order form.

Completing the order form
On the first page, fill out your name, email and address details. You only need to fill in your house number and postcode; to save you time we complete the rest of your address from these details (you have the opportunity to check and amend them on the next page).
Check the 'Remember Me' box to save you having to enter these details when you return to our site. (This service relies on a cookie being placed on your computer; if you clear your cookies, then you will have to re-enter your address details next time you order.)
When you're ready, click 'Continue'.
On the second page of the checkout, check that the address details shown are correct. The 'Contact' address must be the same as the address the credit card bill is sent to. If you require the goods to be sent to an alternative delivery address, or if there is an error in the 'Contact' address, click the appropriate 'I want to change the address listed' button, fill out the form, and click submit. Click continue when you are happy with the order details shown.
The next page of the checkout is where you fill in your payment information. We accept the following credit cards:

Fill out your payment details and click 'Process Order' to complete your order.
You are given an order summary showing your order number. Please make a note of this in case you need to refer to it at a later date.
Once your payment has been processed you will be sent an email acknowledging receipt of your order.

Delivery Information

Standard Service - next-day despatch, delivered within 7 working days
We aim to despatch all items the next day, but please allow up to seven days for delivery. (All items are subject to availability, and we will inform you immediately if anything is out of stock.) Our Standard next-day despatch service costs £3.95 per order.

Express Service - next-day despatch, delivered within 2 working days
48-hour delivery for last-minute purchases. For our special last-minute service please add an additional £4.95 per item. Orders will be delivered within 48 hours (providing the items are in stock).

Special Carrier - delivered within 21 working days
Heavy items such as furniture are marked with a 'Special Carrier' symbol, and due to their bulk incur an additional £9.95 delivery charge per item. Please allow up to 21 days for delivery of these large items. Unfortunately our Express Delivery service is not available on these items. We regret that we cannot ship Special Carrier items to the Channel Islands.

Terms and conditions

Guarantee and Returns policy
If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we will exchange goods or refund your money at any time up to 28 days from receipt of goods. This is in addition to your statutory rights.
If you wish to return or exchange an item, simply send it to us to be received within 28 days of receipt of goods, together with the returns slip provided in the original delivery, at this address:

Website security
To ensure the security of your transaction, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This means that on any page where you enter personal information such as credit card details, the information sent to us is encrypted to safeguard your details. (Encryption prevents other internet users from accessing this information.) We only accept orders that are placed using this technology.
You can check that you are shopping in a secure environment by looking for a locked padlock icon at the bottom right corner of the AOL window. (This will only appear on pages where you enter personal information, such as credit card details.)

Cookies
AOL Shopping Member Offers uses cookies to allow customers to add items to the shopping basket, to remember what items have been looked at recently and to facilitate the 'Remember Me' function (saving customers having to enter their name and address when they return to the site).
Cookies are small text files stored on your computer at the request of a website. Cookies are not computer programs, cannot access information saved on your hard-drive, and cannot spread viruses or send your email address to third-parties. In fact, they only store information given by the user to the website (but they do not contain critical details such as credit card information).
It is possible to remove cookies that have been placed on your computer, although this may prevent AOL Shopping Member Offers functioning correctly - for example, any items in your Shopping Basket will be removed. To remove cookies from your PC:
-choose 'Settings' from the 'Safety' menu on the AOL menu bar
-choose 'Internet (Web Browser) Settings'
-choose 'Internet Explorer settings' (under 'Related Settings' on the right of the Internet Preferences window)
-click 'Delete Cookies', and then click 'OK'

Personal data
Your personal data will not be passed on to any third parties, or be used for any other purposes by Selective Marketplace Ltd other than to fulfil your agreements with us.
